I picked this book up yesterday afternoon and was completely finished with it within a couple of hours.

Let me tell you—I had to reread the last two chapters twice.
TWICE.
Not because I was confused, but because I absolutely could not believe what I had just read.
This book was SO GOOD! I loved the writing style and how quickly I became invested in the story. Once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. Before I knew it, it was way past my usual bedtime, but I just had to know what was going to happen next.
Then the ending arrived and completely pulled the rug out from under me.
I sat there for a while just reeling from it, repeatedly saying, “No way.”
The twist was absolutely mind-blowing. It made me rethink everything I had read leading up to those final chapters. Those are my favorite kinds of twists—the ones that leave you staring at the page in disbelief while immediately flipping back to see what clues you missed along the way.
Without giving away any spoilers, if you enjoy stories that keep you invested from beginning to end and then deliver an ending you never saw coming, this book is definitely worth adding to your reading list.
The moment I realized there was a Part 2, I immediately headed to Amazon and added it to my next reads. There was no way I was leaving the story there after that ending!
My verdict: I immediately needed to talk to someone about this book, and that’s always a sign that a book has done its job.
