When you hold people accountable, their true colors are revealed. Some apologize. Others attack the messenger. The first person to speak up is often treated like the troublemaker; the second person to experience it becomes the proof.<\/div>\n

When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time. And if speaking the truth costs you a seat at the table, it may have been the wrong table all along.<\/div>\n

Although I miss some friends, I do not have time for drama, two-faced people, or those who think it\u2019s acceptable to play games. I have even less time for people who cannot admit when they are wrong or take responsibility for their actions.<\/div>\n

Life is too short to spend it walking on eggshells around people who refuse to acknowledge their mistakes, own their behavior, and learn from it.<\/div>\n
