We had our last dinner with grandma Leta at Casa Romero. \u00a0Mickie is going to be here tomorrow from Montana to take her up here for a few months, on the 8th of August. \u00a0This year has been very challenging for everyone in taking care of Grandma Leta after her stroke in March. She cannot live alone in her home, per the doctor’s order. \u00a0She has good and bad days because of the stroke. \u00a0Unbelievable that she will be 101 on the 20th of August!!!<\/p>\n
Casa Romero threw her a surprise birthday celebration and had a cake made for her! \u00a0I just adore that restaurant. \u00a0They treat grandma like their own! \u00a0 It’s going to be so weird not having our usual friday night dinner. \u00a0 Grandma has been going there for almost 20 years. Jeff and I have been going since 2013 after we took over his parent’s space after their fatal motorcycle accident vs drunk driver.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
